Seen & Heard - Is spring here yet?
Cherry Blossom, © Matthew RiceI heard the meterologist say it on TV just the other day: "Meteorological spring is here."
Now, I don't know what makes it 'meteorological' spring (ok, yes I do) but I'll take it. Any way I can get it. I've had enough snow (at least till Christmas later this year) and bone-chilling wind, and since I can no longer wear cashmere, I'd just like to move on in to spring. Ok?
Thanks.
Speaking of spring... did you hear that the Spring I Heart Handmade market opened up yesterday? Well, it did. And it's fabulous. (Yeah, I'm partial.) Here's a little teaser for you:

You like how that's all color coordinated? I do, too! I'm quite partial to yellow and even have been known to paint a few rooms with it. It's a color of challenge and stimulation. I learned that in one of my interior design classes years ago, but you don't have to take my word for it. Let me google that for you.
If you're curious about the intersection of color and marketing, check out this link. You'll get a quick overview on the basics of the psychology of color. Some of it may even help you with your indie business.
Now back to yellow... As much as I like it, my Colorstrology tells me that my real color is Beryl Green, Pantone 16-5515. It even goes so far as to tell me that I'm knowledgeable, determined, and quick-witted.
You're smart, Colorstrology. Very smart. But you left out the part where you say I'm pretty. ;-)
Well, that's it for my very first Seen & Heard. I hope you get something out of it, even if it's just a few cool links to keep you on the Internet longer. Let me know if you found anything here useful or interesting! And by all means, go play with Colorstrology and tell me what they say about you.
