Sweet Finds - Fabric Frenzy
My mom is an awesome seamstress. She used to make me dresses for Easter and Christmas.. ones that are still in my closet because they're just too beautiful to part with. She's in the process of making curtains and pillows for the massive downstairs renovation that's going on in our house right now. You would think that would be something a daughter would inherit. You would be wrong. So instead of being crafty and sew-savvy myself, I've taken to looking at all the wonderful things that Etsians are creating out of fabric. Here are a few of my favorites!
Plushies:

1. Meet Mon. He is made from recycled PJ's, felt, and cotton. He has the cutest little heart for a nose and would love for you to adopt him! (krize)
2. I spotted these adorable little deer on the front page yesterday. Wouldn't they be a cute alternative to that traditional wedding cake topper? Not only that, but they would be perfect displayed on a bookshelf for years to come. (PlanetFur)
Decor:

1. I seriously love the embroidery hoop wall art trend that's happening right now! (bannerbabe)
2. Flowers that never fade or die! This little bouquet would brighten up any little nook in your space! (tracybdesigns)
Jewelry:

1. An elegant necklace made mostly from fabric. A great statement piece! (Baboush)
2. Not only is this cuff beautiful and wonderfully made out of felted wool, linen, and embroidery thread, the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society! (Waterrose)
What are YOU doing with fabric! Comment with some links of your work or some of your favorites! See y'all next Wednesday!
