Enchanted Adornments: Creating Mixed-Media Jewelry with Metal Clay, Wire, Resin & More
Author: Cynthia Thornton
Interweave Press, 200 pages
ISBN: 978-1-59668-157-6

One quick glance through the pages of Cynthia Thornton's Enchanted Adornments and you'll see nothing but original jewelry designs and inspiration that have seemingly made the journey from fairytales and legends to real life accessories.

Sounds like a tall order, I know, but this book really delivers on creativity!  From the Window of the Heart Bezel Pendant to the Woodland Wings Necklace, and my personal fave, Mirabelle's Locket, we're given a variety of romantic and fantastical designs that will inspire your own imagination.

Copyright Interweave Press. We also gets loads of practical information, too!  I was super impressed with the 40+ pages of tips, tricks, and basics on working with wire, polymer clay, precious metal clay, texturing clay, molds, and resin.  And there's even a troubleshooting section in the back that addresses common issues when working with these materials.

All in all, this would be an excellent resource for novices and intermediates -- or any jewelry designer looking to expand his/her design horizons.

I am so proud of Cynthia and the book that resulted from her vision. It really is a great book and I'm not just saying that because I'm her brother. The book, like you said is packed with useful information as well as a whole lot of magic!
